A flexible DJ experience built around your event and your crowd.
A More Personal Way to Shape the Room
I create open-format sets that connect hip-hop, pop, and mainstream music through smooth transitions and live turntablism. The music can shift with the moment, giving the performance a natural flow instead of following a fixed playlist.
Before the event, I learn about the setting, audience, timing, and musical direction. During the set, I stay attentive to the room and adjust the energy with purpose, bringing technical skill and personality to the performance.

How It Works
Event Planning: We discuss the occasion, schedule, audience, and preferred musical direction.
Set Preparation: I shape an open-format approach with tracks and transitions suited to your event.
Live Performance: I perform, read the room, and guide the music through the event.
I am Nicholas Rico Bertao, a digital creator and DJ who brings a sharp ear, confident presence, and hands-on approach to every performance. My open-format style lets me move naturally across genres while keeping the music connected to the people in front of me. I focus on clean transitions, strong timing, and the details that make a set feel intentional rather than predictable.
For event-based DJ and turntablism, I build the experience around the room, the occasion, and the energy as it develops. I can move from hip-hop and pop to mainstream favorites while using turntable technique to add character and momentum. Clients can expect a prepared, adaptable performance that feels engaging from the first track through the final song.
